Wow, I think I like the frog now. Wondering if someone at ANet has a kid that watches a bit too much Little Bear though.

I now assume you have kids. You know... they could have been more creative in the naming. Duck, Father Bear, Cat,...

Once in a while the frog does indeed speak to it's worshippers.
Dude, follow the frog.

Somehow in the context of toad licking (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toad_licking), starting a religion based on worshiping a talking frog doesn't seem that bad of an idea

Yup, my daughter loves Little Bear. To be fair, it's based on old books by Maurice Sendak, so those were probably the names in his books. The worst my far is The Berenstain Bears for that - I mean, the kids are actually named Sister and Brother, and the dad's name is Papa Q. Bear. Gaaahhh.
But the Frog totally reminds me of the zen frog from Little Bear, teaching Little Bear to jump puddles.

Was I the only one that caught. "The way will become clear to you before the Equinox" which was right after a statement about Sorrow's Furnace? Seems to me it will be here before Sept. 22nd.
Does The Frog take donations? I'll go hunt up some ale....

that kicks major a$$. i have heard about the frog, but never seen it. i like the fact that it is district specific. luck of the draw really. but maybe they should put it somewhere other then LA, so you can see what is going on without a huge amount of spam. i cant wait till i am blessed with witnessing the frogs wisdom!

Yeah Lion's Arch is full of spam. But... it's full of spam because it is THE central hub of the game. Always wondered why LA became that way instead of Droknar's Forge. I mean... since the advent of runners, you can get to the Forge nearly as quick as you can get to LA.

At the World Preview Event (WPE) in October 2004 all characters started as level 15 in Lion's Arch. After that, in all of the subsequent Beta Weekend Events (BWE) Lion's Arch was the central city in the game. At the time, the game stopped after Sanctum Cay. The boat from Cay took you to Tombs, but there were no desert missions and no Southern Shiverpeaks- and no Droknar's Forge.
They may be another reason that only the alpha testers and developers know about, but that's the conclusion I drew from playing in the beta phase.

It is also a rather central location, not that it matters in this game, but in others people tend to gravitate towards the center of the map. Other times its points of interest, which i would attest to droknar's forge. Also, its the first location of competition arenas that have no level cap, which would naturally draw a larger crowd of people to it. Quite possibly as a result of pve players try pvp in such a format and realize something is sub-par and try to compensate with gear, so they head back to LA to find it.
The WPE is the most likely cause though, as once people begin to settle, then they naturally attract more towards that location.

While many people like to trade in LA (center of trade and such), I prefer to trade in Droknar's (a higher % of the people seem richer).
But The Frog would never be involved with material things

Way will become clear before the Equinox? Is this relating to something in the game or the actually Equinox?
